ya'll must keep your sausages whole? I make mine into bite sized slices.... but I guess you could put it on a bun either way. Never thought of that.
Potatoes of some sort seem to be the norm.
There are very few (odd) meals like that, that I have a hard time coming up with the right sides for.

what about french fries?
yes we keep our sausages whole! yummy!!! i will slice it up after it's cooked for the kid or cut it in half the longway for him.

I just decided this will be dinner for us too LOL I have polish sausage in the freezer. If I take out now I can do dinner with it. Ill cook it in the oven with peppers. For a side I will make hash browns and green beans. I also have rice cooked. Thank you for the idea!!!!

I boiled red potatoes & tossed them in butter, salt & pepper... it was good!
