I still have to lose about ten more pounds but here I am earlier this year and thirty pounds lighter. The latest picture was taken yesterday after we got home from Greg's work party.

It's a good reminder of how far you've come and it will help keep you motivated.
I posted a picture of me at my highest weight in the Trimmed Scrappers section. It took me awhile to post it. The first picture I posted was after I had lost some weight.
I feel like I have a lot yet to lose, but when I look at those pictures I remember how much I've already lost. It helps.

Looking at my heaviest pictures is very difficult for me. I can't believe I let myself go so badly after Lucia. I always worked out so it wasn't so hard to start up again after I had stopped for three years. Now I'm rather obsessed with working out and feel great when I do it daily. It feels great to be able to buy clothes that don't cover bad areas in my body.

Sweetie, you never "let yourself go". You had a baby under traumatic circumstances, with a traumatic birth. Then you fed her yourself. If you don't keep any reserves under those conditions, then you're foolish.
Now that you don't need it any more, you've got rid of it in a sensible way in a healthy amount of time. I'm so proud of you!

Thank you girls! Rosey, you put tears in my eyes. Thank you for reminding me of that, sometimes I feels like I had no reason at all for getting so out of shape. But the truth is that it did take me a long time to recover from that terrible birth and I didn't realize just how much hardship my body had picked up. The weight is shedding off slowly but I know it will stick and more importantly, I feel healthy and strong now.
