Retro candy? If everyone's from the same approximate age group, it would be really fun to scour the stores for some of the favorites from the 80's, 70's, or 60's. I threw a 50's party last year and bought a bunch of retro candy and it was a HUGE hit. You can see pics here:

Stuff to do a pedicure...like a nice foot massage oil/cream ( DH got one in a mystery gift a few years ago and loved it)
Lunchbox....saw some awesome ones yesterday that were divided,for salad etc. they were more fancy than the std plastic variety, and came with accessories like travel mugs too.
a desk ornament....saw some cool ones that were wooden puzzles
what about a pendrive for a keyring? There are some quite cool ones around now.
or just a keyring...we all have keys floating round that need a keyring update.
Coasters for coffee mugs/beer glasses
If all else fails....a set of those flashing antlers you give to the person you cant stand at the office to make them look like a twit!

You can do a cute spaghetti gift basket. Go to a dollar store (deals, dollar tree, etc) and get a $1 colander and a basket gift bag with bow. Go to walmart and get a can of hunts spaghetti sauce ($1), a box of noodles ($1), a kitchen towel ($1), 2 pot holders ($1) and some wooden spoons ($1-2) Maybe add a bottle of sparkling cider it's only a couple of dollars too.
