Everything went as planned. My Dr. just removed my uterus, and cleaned up more endometriosis. The pain is a lot worse then it was after my laproscopy in August, but it's still not to bad. The more I get up and move around the better it gets.
I sure do miss my morphine though. I'm taking Percocet.

So that means you still get to wait for menopause. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

I'm glad you're home and it's all finished. Does that mean the end of the endo even though they left the ovaries?
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I'm going to guess - if they got all the tissue, then yes. Endo is from uterine tissue growing outside the uterus.

I'm glad to hear you are home! Take your percocet as directed for the first 48 hours; because if you are in pain, it will prolong your healing.

Tam is right, as long as they clean out all of the endo and remove the uterus it wont come back.
I'm taking the Percocet, and I can definitely tell when it's starting to wear off.
The first trip off of my hospital bed was brutal. I was really doubting that I would feel well enough to go home. Each time got a little easier.
One of my incisions left a dimple in my stomach. Lol! I hope that flattens out over time.

I felt the same way, the first time they got me up to walk. Especially with all of the anesthesia and when youu realize that only earlier in the day, you had the surgery.
I had the same issue with one of my incisions. After a few days, a stitch began to stick out. I put Neosporin and a band-aid on it and it healed fine. It's still red; but at my follow-up appts, the Dr and the PA both looked at it and said it looked great.

Thanks ladies!
I'm feeling a little itchy. I hope it's not my Percocet. If I break out I guess I'll have to take Tylenol until I can get a new perscription for a different pain medication.

most medicines with codeine cause an itch, but for me it's worth it.

Jen,
My Dr also prescribed IB Profin 600.mg. 3 times a day. It helps with inflammation and pain.

Tylenol with Codeine has never bothered me. I tried searching online to see if Percocet has gluten in it, but it doesn't look like it.

I'm allergic to Ibuprofin. It gives me a rash and blisters under my fingernails.
