This question seems familiar, maybe not. If so, disregard! What is your kids "big present" if you do that? Mine--dd, roller skates; ds--the big Switch & Go Dino.

Of course she wants an Ipod, Ipad, phone, etc. but not gonna happen.

i don't think we are doing a 'big gift'. we really don't need anything but we are thinking of picking up a hockey set that has 2 little nets in it so he can use the nets while he plays hockey in the house. he has this card system set up for hockey games! it's great, he uses his imagination and if we can keep building on the imagination we will.

he really wants a hockey goalie set, so we've talked about a road hockey one but we might just go with new hockey gloves but that's still up in the air too.

we thought we were going to have to get Thomas a big expensive toy that he has had his eye on for almost the whole year, but he didn't ask for it....

so this years "big gift" is just some angry bird toys, but they aren't big or expensive, but it is what they want

My mother is buying my kid an iPad mini as a combo b-day and Christmas gift. John and I are doing small gifts this year. We just don't have the money for much of a Christmas this year.

My dh and I differ on this. I say nothing but he wants to get her a google tablet. I think she has enough and does not appreciate what she does have. I really just want her to get necessities.

Jenna wants one of the mod scooters. She's not getting it.

I haven't decided what she's getting yet. I kind of want to get her an ereader, but she already has an ipod touch and nano. She also has a DS.

The scooter makes me really nervous. I tried it out in the basement!

LOL Isn't that the way? I don't think I've ever grown out of liking boxes.

Char loves her ereader and it was on sale today at Barnes and Noble for $59.99. Of course we bought it when it was $200!! I like it because then when people ask for ideas, I tell them GC's. She is so hard this year!!

We are combining a lot of their gifts this year. I just ordered a soccer goal, 3 soccer balls, cones, and I'm going to tye dye some soccer socks for them.

I guess their big gift would be the kitty we promised to adopt for them in the spring. We're going to get a carrier and few things for the kitty to give to them at Christmas too.

I grew up with a golf cart and one of those mini cars that raced. I know how dumb kids can be with them. I lived on a dead end street, but now it's been opened up and there's no way I'd let her have one.
