I need some ideas on a cool board game for my friend's son who is 5. He has the usual-Candy Land, Uno, Hi Ho Cheerio, Chutes and Ladders. I want something fun and different. I bought him The Lion King movie already so I would like it to be in the $10 range. Any suggestions on some fun games out there that your kids like?

Rat A Tat Cat
Guess Who
Wig Out
Memory

#1 and 3 looked so dumb but have gotten lots of use in my house! They are well rated on Amazon, so dd isn't the only crazy one who loves them!

Hi Ho Cherry O was one of DD's favorites at that age. Good game for counting skills and I think it's about $10.

Zingo - there are 3 different ones and if I could, I would get one for each of my students. We got the original Zingo when Jenna was about 5 and it was fun to play and it helped her learn. They're $13 on Amazon, but totally worth it because it's the only game Jenna still asks to play with.

Charlotte picked out Go Fish because she loved it as a kid. It wasn't very expensive so fit into my budget. I am going to look into Zingo. Maybe for his birthday!!
