show affection in public? Like holding hands when you're walking?

A couple of weeks ago we were in church. I'm in the choir, and when we go up for Communion, I join DH from the choir stalls and we go up to the altar together. We always have a little quick hand clasp, not obvious, once we're in line. The lady behind me obviously saw it, and she leaned over my shoulder and whispered with a big smile, "anyone would think you two were in love!" I whispered back "they'd be right"

That still makes me glow, just thinking of it.

That's so sweet! Greg and I used to before we had kids, now we're pulled in different directions all the time. However, Greg kisses me often even when we're in public.

We always hold hands too in public! When I was a girl I admired our neighbors who were over 80 at that time and they were holding hands all the time when they took a walk. I loved that and always wished something like that for me. Looks like a found it!

When we are alone we are still very much like we were when we dated. Holding hands, hugs, a kiss here and there. We don't make out or anything but we are affectionate. Now it's a totally different story when we are with Aiden (which is most of the time) he's a runner and it's all hands on deck to keep him out of trouble.

We're somewhere between "aww sweet" and "get a room."

Now if my dh is in uniform (on duty) I barely get a hug and a peck.

Yes, Chris and I are affectionate in public. Holding hands, arm around my shoulder, quick kisses, and sometimes, he just kisses my temple or cheek for no other reason than he wants to.

I hope it never stops.
