If you are like me, you have fallen in love with 6" by 6" paper pads. They are my favorite thing to buy!! I love using them on layouts and especially for cards. The way they shrink the patterns down from the 12" by 12" ROCKS!!

For this month, I want you to dig out your 6" by 6" paper pads and use them on a layout. The trick is I only want you to use a background sheet of cardstock as your base and ONLY the 6" by 6" paper for any patterned paper you might use on that page. Any other embellies you want to use is fine, though. (I know Halloween is over but I couldn't resist!!)

***Upload your layout to the Scrapjazz gallery with "November 2012 6" by 6" challenge" in the title and link it to this thread by November 30, 2012 to be entered into a random drawing for a $25 coupon to the Scrapjazz.com store.

If you can, tell us if you had any difficulty or innovative way you used the 6" by 6" paper on your page. I cannot wait to see what you scrap!!

Question....

Do you want us to just use one 6 x 6 paper from the pad?? Or can we use different papers from the pad in smaller sizes or shapes??

Good challenge. I have a few of these mini pads and I NEVER use them.

You can cut them up and make them smaller Virginia. I don't think I would be able to do a layout just using them as 6" by 6" pieces!!

I don't own any 6 x 6 pads. So I cut down some paper into 6 x 6 size.

My Fair Lady "November 2012 6" by 6" challenge" By Cjjohnson

Other than a few stickers from the collection, some thread and a button... it all came from the 6x6 pad. Authentique Carefree. Came together super fast, perhaps I should make effort to use the 6x6 pads more often.

I don't like the 6x6 pads, I have a few but they're very old and I'm not sure I even like the papers anymore. this will be quite a challenge for me.

I won a prize at the other site and it came today and there was a 6x6 pad in the box so now I am good to do this challenge. Well, not that good, because I have trouble working with this size, but at least I have new paper to do it with. BTW - it's Kaisercraft lush.

My LO for this challenge.

I used MME Miss Caroline All Dolled Up 6 x 6 paper pad. Used some felt letter stickers and absolutely hate them, soo hard to work with!! They look a mess....

interesting challenge. I have a few 6x6 books and don't use them often enough. Looking here for inspiration.

This was a quite a challenge for me, I find those 6x6 pads restricting and throw off my whole routine. But I just won this pad and it went perfectly with the photos so I just went for a very simple design and added some washi tape.

I think it is so interesting that everyone is so challenged by 6" by 6" paper pads. It is pretty much all I use now!! I love that I can get a lot of paper for a small amount of money. I also wind up cutting up most of my 12" by 12" papers so using a smaller pad isn't a stretch for me. I usually use CS for a background too and get a couple pieces of 12" by 12" in the collection to play with if I want bigger pieces to use.

I am loving all your pages. You are rocking this challenge!!

I actually did all the challenges this month!! Here is a Christmas themed layout and I only used 6" by 6" papers with some fun embellishments.
