Well, it's not the "regular" form of PL. Mine is a monthly layout of the things that we did or that happened during that month. I'm actually writing an article about it that will be posted here on SJ in January, so be on the look-out.
I decided to start in August, because I had so many photos from different outings and our vacation that I couldn't figure out what to do with all of them. I'll go into more detail in my article, though.
Has anyone else tried PL? How is it going? Do you follow the weekly plan, or have you altered it in some way to fit your style and needs? Please share.

No, my life isn't that exciting! But I did a LO once of a busy month where I took quite a lot of photos. I printed out the calendar for the month and then stuck photos all round it with little arrows and strings to the correct day. I was pleased with it.
I'm looking forward to seeing yours.

I tried once.... I got as far as trimming all the paper down...... The part that I find the hardest and the most impractical for my life is the printing of a photo each day - I have the memory of a single celled organism - I can't remember when what pictures were taken...... And the the whole time thing........

I agree with you. That's why I decided to do a monthly version. Daily was just too much pressure for me. In my article, I will also talk about apps for your phone that will help with this type of project.

I have the same problem with the photo printing thing. BUT I think that I just figured out the answer. I can do the album and leave the blank space for the picture. But I can pencil in the name of the photo and the date when it was taken. Then I can rename the photo file and give it the name that I penciled in. When you order through Shutterfly or Snapfish, not really sure which one right now, they actually print the name of the photo on the back. So when I get it I'll be able to find where it belongs!!
In fact, I don't even have to pre-make the album. I can keep a list of each photo with the name of the photo and the description. That way whenever the photos arrive with the name printed on the back, I can match them to my list and make my album!!! Woohoooo...I hope that you all could follow my thought process lol
