Anyone watch?
I have to say I was a little disappointed. It seemed like a wash to me. I was hoping to get pumped up like I did watching the presidential debate. lol

I was watching online for a few minutes in the beginning but caught a call at work that outlasted the debate

I watched. The Romney/Obama debate I thought Obama got whooped. Last night I didn't feel like there was a real "winner" but I did feel like Biden was a bulley. Laughing and talking over someone is rude.

It was painful to watch. I agree that there wasn't a clear "winner" as in the first presidential debate.... but Biden's smirks, outbursts of laughter, cheesy grins, eye rolling, etc. drove me batty. Yes, rude & disrespectful. Not just to Ryan, but to all americans (IMO). These are some serious issues and whether you agree w/someone or not.... you just don't act like that.

My son had to watch for school. I fell asleep on the couch 5 minutes in. When I woke up they had switched from foreign to domestic. I hate these things, they're so political that I don't know really believe anything either of them say.

I watched and found it quite entertaining. Biden's completely juvenile attitude had me cracking up. I was surprised afterward that so many people were deeming him the winner. Not that Ryan knocked it out of the park, I just agree that neither was stellar. It was a draw in my book.
What gets me the most today is so many of my more liberal friends complaining today about how they don't get what the big deal is with how Biden acted. If Ryan or Romney had acted so condescending and childish, they would be all over them saying that it's proof that a guy who can't conduct himself maturely shouldn't be the one to be trusted with the best interests of our nation.

Look at how society acts in general nowadays. Probably why they don't get it. But seriously?? What's not to get about not acting professional?

True, Tam. It does seem that acting out on however one feels has become socially acceptable. Acting mature and getting along is now considered fake. It is mind-blowing to me how backward the world is becoming.

Some are comparing Biden's behavior to Romney's during his debate. There's no comparison, imho.

I saw that too, Jen. I can't figure out what they are talking about. Closest I saw to that behavior was Obama arguing with Jim Lehrer. Not gonna say that Romney didn't do any but there was one moment that really shocked me from Obama.

I didn't watch it but based on what I read, there is no comparison whatsoever! Some people are just jacked.

Romney was a bit aggressive, but not abrasive and rude. He sure wasn't smiling like a loon during the whole debate either.

I thought Mr. Biden was terrible and a bad example for our young people to watch. No wonder our country is in such bad shape. (Just my opinion)

i agree heather - if a republican acted like that...a bigger deal would be made of it lol
