I still have the mending on my list that I didn't do yesterday, and I need to finish tidying up, and vacuum. When I'm clearing up and throwing out, the vacuuming seems to get left "until I can find enough floor" which often means far too long.

Tonight I have another rehearsal for the other Songs of Praise recording, so that means a short day, an early dinner (5pm I can't eat that early) and a late finish.

What are your plans for the day?

well I would much rather crawl back in the my warm bed but going to get moving so I can warm up. I have a bunch of cleaning I want to get done today but instead of focusing on the big I think I am going to focus on the little, although I do need to catch up on some dishes that have been left behind.

I'm hoping to get some wood brought in, summer footwear put away, too small coats/etc put away.
I have a meeting at noontime and then gotta rush back to get J from the bus then will be spending the afternoon with him. Hubby has a meeting tonight so gotta make sure supper is ready when he walks through the door.

wash a comforter & make the bed in spare bedroom.....

finish painting trim in the entryway (then I'll be DONE w/that!)

Start painting the upstairs hallway, which I've already primed. Things are looking SO much better as I cover the early 90's tacky, basket wallpaper & border!

Summer sausage & mac & cheese for dinner at 5. Bowling at 6.

Stephanie - when you say "primed", what exactly do you mean? It's wallpaper, right? Did you peel it off or paint over it?

Painting over it Rosey. It was EVERYwhere! And such deep/dark colors (navy blue, burgundy & busy patterns) I was afraid paint alone wouldn't cover it, or it would take several coats. So primer covers it with one coat, then ya paint over it.

The paper must be stuck on really well then? Sometimes I've tried to paint over paper and it has peeled off in places.

what I wish I was doing today: going shopping to target, lowes, a garden nursery and my LSS. eating out at olive garden. or relaxing at my moms.

what I am actually doing today: cleaning house. washing bed sheets. exercising. holding baby all day long (he would NOT let me put him down yesterday - my arms are so sore). making meals. and taking recycles to the bins.

Oh Hallowe'en! I get it! You're early though aren't you? Hallowe'en isn't for another 2 and a half weeks.
