Hand it over. I believe I've earned it.
Jenna is pretty self-sufficient when it comes to getting a snack. Fun part of being sick a lot is that she has learned how to make her own ramen and popcorn. Well, today she put in the for the ramen time. I heard a pop and a "oh no, Mom!" By the time I got downstair the whole downstairs had the chemical smell of burnt bad enough to burn my eyes.
4:20 is for ramen, 1:40 is for lol

Well that's one thing she won't get wrong again!
Goodness, that's not a bad mom thing. My niece is the same age as Jenna and she uses the microwave all the time. Everyone make mistakes sometimes.

Oh no!
I still remember when my brother and I thought it would be a good idea to 'boil' an egg in the microwave. The smell was horrid. My mom wasn't happy when she got home from work. lol

I opened my purse at the end of the day today to get my keys out and I could smell the lovely smell still.

When DH was 14 he got a pet corn snake which had to be fed frozen mice, defrosted to blood heat in the airing cupboard. One day he forgot to take the mouse out of the freezer, and tried to defrost it in his mum's new microwave. Yup, rodent explosion. He never confessed that to his mum.

....and my house still smells a little of it.
Going to get some charcoal from the store to help absorb the scent.

Maybe baking soda in the microwave would help?

I think DH's mum would have done more than that if she had known.
I know, boys are disgusting.

I'll have to try that because I went to warm up some water today for apple cider and the smell was very strong.
