I feel frozen.  I sat outside during Lilly's game this morning. It was 39. Brrrr! My nose and ears are tingling. I'll be heading back to the fields in about 20 minutes for two more games.
I was wearing a t-shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, 2 pairs of socks, boots, and had a blanket on. This time I'm going to add gloves, a long sleeved t-shirt and another blanket.
Tonight we're suppose to go to an officer appreciation gathering, but it's outside too. We might just stay for a couple of hours.

Using the extra blanket to sit on helped block the wind quite a bit. I'm just thankful it wasn't raining. It was forecasted.
Lilly's team tied 1-1, Abby's team tied 1-1, and Camy's team won 4-0. Camy scored her first goal!!! Her team is undefeated.
Lilly and Camy have another game next weekend, but Abby is done.

Oh, for the officer appreciation gathering I wore a t-shirt, long sleeved t-shirt, hooded sweatshirt, 2 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of socks, gloves, and a jacket. I was comfortable. lol
We had a great time! They had 4 different bouncy slide/jumpy things. I got in the bounce house with Abby. I must have been the only adult because when I asked the two ladies that were monitoring it if there was a weight limit they looked surprised. They said, "go on in!"
The had a shooting range set up (of course, lol), knife throwing (what??), go-karts, hayrides, a kiddie train, face painting, pumpkin painting, crafts, rock climbing, zip line... it was like a fair or carnival.
They also had tons of food, a pretzel stand, a  stand, baskets of goodies, gift baskets for the officers, and we won a gc to a nice local restaurant.

you need to go buy some warm long underwear for pants and a shirt so you don't have to layer so much! it would help.

Lilly and Camy both have one more game, possibly two. I'll consider buying thermals for next year.

i'm going to need to get me some long underwear. I'm going to be a rink rat and our rink is one of the coldest around. Everyone around says the same thing, they love the ice because it's so hard but it's one of the coldest rinks they've ever been in.

Well we finally closed all of our windows. We'll probably be opening them up again by the weekend though. It's forecasted to be around 70. We'll see.
