Oh you guys crack me up and make me feel loved all at the same time!
Well, I went and I'm not happy. It turns out my PTSD is quite real LOL I was anxious but I barreled through it. It all went great until I told the doctor the symptoms I've been having for the past year or so. Her face dropped and I thought she was going to kick my butt. Her words "it's always the by the ways that worry me the most, you just dropped a bomb. Guess what? You need an MRI ASAP. I'm going to call you at home, I really need you to get it done right away". That pretty much was my WTF moment since I obviously didn't think too much of it...
Good news, no need for a mamo and she was more than happy with my weight and BMI. I need to start some calcium chews or something and I need an ultrasound to rule out ovarian cancer since my mom died from it and it's hereditary.
Ugh, I need a nap.

I'm sorry that I have been out of the loop; but I hope and pray that everything is well for you. Get that MRI soon. It will help you feel that you have some control over your situation.

She's trying to make sure I don't have a brain tumor. I've had sudden strong pressure on one side of my brain accompanied by temporary loss of vision on the same eye. Each episode doesn't last longer than a couple of minutes but she said early onset of a tumor can have sporadic short lasting symptoms. Whatever, not what I wanted to hear. I was prepared for her to maybe prescribe a migraine pill and call it a day but my migraines happen on the opposite side of the brain.
I'm not even going to research this. I'm just going to have the stupid test and move on.

I've heard of that happening with sinusitis, possibly caused by allergies. And it's been happening for a year without getting much worse?
The rest of it sounds like good news.
Don't panic yet. Yeah, I know, that's easy for me to say.

Thank you girls. Christina, they do an internal ultrasound and a blood test. There is no infallible test to date but they try to cover all their bases. That coupled with a close look at any changes pertaining to the lower abdomen. I had weird changes in my intestinal habits so it will be good to check just in case. I think the changes in me are more related to my weight loss and dieting. I lost tweety five pounds so far.
