Tam, just curious ~ are you working on two albums at the same time? One for DS and one for DD? I know you scrap chronologically but had no idea you were doing 2001. You've been very busy and doing a great job.

Really chronologically? And 2001? So you don't scrap current photos at all? That would be very hard, I couldn't do it

Yes, I simultaneously work on albums for my son and daughter. Some of my layouts are duplicates, so I will just post one. I like when I can duplicate, it helps. Sometimes they are pretty similar and I might or might not post both.
Yes, I scrap chrono and I'm finally in 2002. By scrapping chrono (and I scrap 'em all, I have no interest in keeping separate photo albums) I can see where I'm at and also now I'm finally planning ahead a bit so I can see where double page spreads will land and work them out to face. I can do that by either turning what would've been a one pager into 2, or make a 2 pager into a 3 so at least it's not just a split double.

Jan, the polka dot strip on the top of the snow layout is actually a piece of paper cut from the same paper stack as the bottom border.
The paper strips on the New Year layout - I trim all my backgrounds to 11 3/4 x 11 3/4. I started doing it a long time ago because not all paper was true 12 x 12 and that way they'd be the same size (and I still have plenty of old paper). So I have a lot of paper strips I saved because I felt it was a waste to just chuck 'em.
