Does it really matter if the colors are right? It inspired you to scrap and that's all that matters! I love your color combo, and the vintage photo is so neat.

When I was writing down the challenge I looked up analgous color scheme, because I had no idea what it meant, and came to the conclusion that it's colors next to each other on the color wheel. Blue, blue green, blue for example. I wrote down several examples so I could choose one when I was ready to do this challenge. lol

They are adjacent on the color wheel but it depends on how detailed you get on the spectrum. If you go more basic ROYGBIV then it would be like red, orange, yellow or green, blue, purple, etc.

I chose the yellow-green-blue scheme for my analgous colours and am pleased with the soft, cool appearance of COW #21.

Virginia, first I love the title of your COW and second I think your color choice is great. I especially like the background pp that looks like nuts, bolts and gears from the '50's car in your photo. You are doing fabulous with your 8 x 8 family album!

I went with the warm colors instead. My chipboard is covered in patterned paper - the photo corner.

I wasn't sure I did the colors "right" either. I was trying for the three at the top of this wheel, more or less.

LOL! Jan, that paper has cameras on it! And I thought how appropriate for this pic, especially if the boys thought it was funny to act like they were drinking whiskey from empty bottles!

Those old family pics are just too much fun to scrap, even when you don't know the "story" behind them!

Oops, guess I should have looked up the word "adjacent"! Oh well, guess I can always do another LO for the challenge!

Here is my COW 21. This is my DD leading the high school marching band in the Founder's Day parade. She shouldn't have been in the parade at all,she was still on crutches due to a soccer injury a week earlier. She said she wasn't giving up her position and to tape up her knee.

Okay, think I got it right this time!!

Found this pic of mom, but not really sure what the occasion was so I left it untitled to I talk to my aunt.

And I did not use chipboard, but figured the title will be chipboard. 8 x 8 LO

Nice! Could it be a first communion? Only thing I can think of where a girl dresses like a bride.

That was my first thought, but looking at other pics that I know was her 1st communion, she is older in this pic, so not sure what the actual occasion was. Will try to find out though!

All your layouts are so pretty and it looks to me that your colors match much better than mine, altough I looked at Tam's colorwheel.
