I'm 2 behind but I recently did one on my own (when I was caught up) so I'll post the one for this week and I won't be one more behind.
Twine or floss
Flourish
Liquid glaze (diamond glaze, glossy accents, etc. type stuff)

Yep, if you don't have glaze you can substitute with clear embossing powder.
YOu could've added glaze to your shopping list.

HA! Maybe I should have waited til this week to order!
I think I have something similar from SU, but the last time I used it, I had to dig the stuff out of the bottle because it wouldn't come out through the nozzle! I'll give it another try. If that fails, I might use the UTEE or something similar....

Hmmm.... well, if you don't have any glaze, that would be a good sub.

Cow #6, and I think I'm all caught up with all the challenges!!
This challenge, I think I got it all right this time!! (check it out Tam!!! LOL)
Chipboard flourish, glossy accent on the die cut doily, and twine on the button!! 8 x 8 LO
Okay, please pay NO attention to the colors in the photo. This was originally a slide. For some reason, the orange turned out looking flourescent!!! Have no clue why!!!

Great job!
Your kids have orange lips, too.

haha! Yep, me and my sister back in 1953!!
Most pics back then were slides. I have a scanner that I can scan slides and negatives. Thought maybe it was my scanner. So, I had it printed up at Walgreens, same thing. Florescent orange!! ha! Never tried playing with it in photo shop. I really like the pic, but put off scrapping it til now. Figured, color really doesn't matter anymore!

Virginia, you're really on a roll with your old photos - love COW 6 - it's frilly, fancy & feminine! Is this the first time you've had a color ooops when scanning a slide?

Well, not sure I would call it an "oops". I took the slide into Walgreens, and it turned out the same way. Maybe it's just the way the color turned out when photographed??

I found this difficult because I don't have twine or glaze, but I used some red stickles as flower centers on the pink paper for the liquid glaze requirement and found some white floss for the edge of the photo. I thought about buying some new supplies, but I couldn't find either at my Michael's.

Cute LO Jenn! Way to improvise, I don't have twine either, but I do have a lot of floss & fibers. Adorable pictures!

Looks great Jen!
Michaels sells glossy accents. It's with the stamping stuff - the inks and Tim Holtz stuff aisle. The stuff I have I think they stopped selling. It was called Liquid Embossing by All Night Media (Plaid).
They sell embroidery floss, too. It's near the yarn aisles. I don't have twine either (and am not going to buy any). I make my own by twisting crochet thread with embroidery floss. I haven't actually used any yet. I just did it for fun to see how it'd come out.
Next week (starting tomorrow) Michaels has a 50% off coupon.

BTW - glaze is cool to make your own 'epoxy' embellishments.

Here is mine http://www.scrapjazz.com/gallery/image/layout/ 5739...
I ended up going with a font that has a flourish in it. At the time i was trying to come up with something, any other flourish didn't seem like it'd work for me.
Floss on corners, and glaze on the little apple embellie I made with a couple of punches. I haven't journaled it yet though.
