Since it's not up yet, I'll post.

The magic challenge generator has chosen:

monochromatic
foam stamps
border punch

I just stamped randomly with the foam stamp to try and create a frosty effect. Unfortunately, I guess the stamp wasn't totally clean because the white ink got a bit gray. Oops!

Your LO turned out great! I like that you used green instead of the usual blue for winter/cold.

Monochromatic is a challenge for me! ha!

I think this LO is sort of plain looking. And I used a pagemap sketch for it....

Nice! I thought mine was kind of plain, too. I guess I"m a plain kind of person because I don't know how to throw up embellishments on layouts. LOL

Depending on what embellishments I have, sometimes I just don't have enough to do more with a LO!

Here is my take on COW #3. Not quite as monochromatic as I had hoped, but I like how it turned out.

Deb, I love how your COW turned out. Candy patterned paper is so sweet.
Here's my attempt at COW 3 ~ didn't get all the elements as I don't have foam stamps but did get the monochromatic and border punch.

I missed the foam stamps as well - I don't have any - but here's my take:

Great layout! Where were you that you could take a boat to see icebergs? I would love to do that!

Newfoundland - I'm from there and we go back every summer for vacation and spend some time visiting my parents in the city, and then travelling around to show DH other parts of the island. This year was a record year for icebergs - never before have they had this many or this big - so we went to a little place on the tip of a peninsula and did an iceberg/whale watching tour. I'm working on a few LOs of them now, there's a double page spread in my gallery I just did today, but the BIG iceburg I still have to scrap. These things were huge, but the biggest one was something like five times the size of the one that sunk the Titanic.

Here's the pics of the "big one" - This is all the same iceberg, just different angles. It was massive! Had lakes, springs, caverns. And man, the colours were just amazing! And the freaky thing is, less than 10 per cent of an iceberg can be seen, 90 per cent is under water. We got close enough at one point that you could see some of it stretching underwater, holy floating mountain! (Can you tell this was an experience of a lifetime for me??? Just a little enthusiastic!) Hope you can see these, I linked from my FB. If you can't (and are interested), let me know and I'll upload them from my laptop
