But Paul just called to ask me over  We'll go get a sandwich somewhere then put out an area rug he bought for his living room, take all the plastic off his couch and move it into place.

thanks Cathy, I shall. Hadn't talked to Paul all day, so he had no idea I was having a bad one. I talked to God about it on my way home though and once again, He answers prayer!

OMGosh, it's beautiful! He had two area rugs, one with color blocks, one just a beige pattern. He chose to roll out the colored one (feels things are too bland thus far) and it was the right choice. It has deep navy, some soft green, burgundy, beige and dark brown in it. We managed to get the loveseat in the house (couch was already there - had to unwrap it). We went to town for dinner first, then went back out to arrange and rearrange furniture. It's really looking more like a home now. His mattress isn't in yet, so he's still sleeping in the shed apartment but he said after hanging out in the house tonight, he is beyond ready to move in! We also opened up a new butcher block of knives he'd gotten; hooked up his house phone and put clean towels into the bathroom closet.
He has a running list, things always being added to it .... but towards the top of the list are window treatments, dishes and flatwear.
It was much fun and I'm grateful he's sharing the experience with me!
