Anyone heard anything about this? I just got an email with a photo. It's a new die-cutting machine they are bringing out at cha. Anyone have the scoop? It's small, almost the size of a large punch...so it's not like a xyron. But it looks like it also has a memory card...hmmmm....I'm intirgued!

I have seen it or something very close.
It is limited size-wise - but it is a nice-compact machine that is portable

Theyve been teasing about it for over a year now and it always says coming at the next CHA. Hopefully it really comes this time
I dont want it, Im kinda covered in the die cut area, but I do see how it would be handy

It doesn't begin shipping until June 2008. I don't think I would preorder it this early!!

It retails for $149 and the cartridges are $39.99.
It is pretty neat, you can cut anywhere, but it only cuts one letter/shape at a time and you have to hold it down while it cuts. Some times that takes a few minutes.
I have heard that they are already working on one that DOESN'T have to be held down...
They gave away quite a few to retailers at CHA (they will get them in June as well) and once that happens I am sure we will see a LOT of reviews.

I wonder if it only takes cartidges or if you can use true type fonts from your computer with the memory card?

I personally think it takes way too long to cut each piece plus you have to hold it. It would take forever to cut an entire word IMO. And it only cuts up to 4". I will stick with my Quickutz Squeeze and Revolution. I am addicted.

Oh, so good to see some have seen this in action already and pointing out how long it takes to cut. I don't think I'd like having to hold it down. I like the price though and the ability to cut TTFs -if it can- and the ease of use/portability but I love my QK dies too much to really care much about this one
