I'm looking for ideas for a poster board that I need to make for my niece's graduation this year. Apparently, I made one for her brother 4 yrs. ago - i wish I could remember what it looked like, lol. I'm not sure how I want to do this one for her though. I would like to be able to use 12x12 cardstock and almost do it in sections so that when her party is over, she can take the pages off the poster board and put them into a scrapbook. I'll probably have to make the scrapbook too! I don't know if I should just use her school colors or go w/ something she likes. I don't know if I should use a poster board or something else. What kind of adhesive could I put on the back of the layouts that will come off when she's ready to put it into an album? I definitely want to make a Congratulations page that everyone can write something to her. Any other ideas or suggestions? TIA.

i would just go with colors that she likes, maybe one page of her school colors with her grad pic on it? i would use the large foam poster boards to display them all and you can use removeable glue dots to attach them. good luck this sounds like a long project! Please post it when you are done!

I'd do it like Kim did this canvas, only I'd try not to take quite so long http://scrapjazz.com/community/jazzclub/sh owthread.php?t=121857

If it's going to be poster sized, could you use oversized "photo corners" to hold the 12 x 12 squares in place? If you used the school colors for the corners, they could act as a unifying feature for the entire poster. That way you'd have a little more freedom to choose other colors for the individual 12 x 12's.

Ooooh, I like the sound of that idea. I would be afraid adhesive would damage the pages..... (at least that would be MY luck!! LOL)

That is a great idea Lois! Now, is HS the only one that makes the oversized ones?
