I saw them in real life for the first time today. I never realised that they actually are made with patterned paper on the inside.
Bought some to give as presents. I have some friends with birthdays coming up who might like one. I thought for the money they are very well-priced. The papers are really different inside, a little "quirky" even.
I was going to make my own version, but decided that for the $$ this pre-made option was going to work out much cheaper.
They are super-cute

I got one from a wonderful friend. Thanks Wen. I've been collecting stuff to go in it but haven't started yet.

They are gorgeous - I got one from a wonderful friend too! It's almost too pretty to use. I will when it arrives though!

So what's the difference between a Smash book and a Junk Journal?

I love my smash book! Four of my dd's also bought them and love them. Have you seen the new ones that just came out, they are much bigger and also themed such as wedding, baby shower, etc.

I am looking forward to putting the photos from our 3 day hike in the mountains in one. We have done quite a few hikes over the lasst few years, and it will be good to have them all in one place. I often do a page or two in the 12x12 lo size, but there are so many photos that I could do, this small format will be perfect for it.
I love the new ones too Nilsa. I can imagine using a wedding one as a planner for a bride to be. It woulod be cool to keep all that info in one spot. I sure wish I had kept all that stuff when we got married 27 years ago.
