woke up to the ground covered in snow would prefer a good blizzard.... but this will have to do.
Thought about going to tan (I have credits left) but may just stay home, do some laundry & be domestic.
We're going to dinner at a new (to us) place, with another couple tonight.

I have to take son for a haircut then back out again for class. I might try and clean up my scrap area. It's getting too messy making it harder to work at and if I don't scrap again soon I might end up letting myself get into a dry spell and I can't have that. I've got a looooong road to go before I'm anywhere near catching up. I'm still in 2002.

I ran a few errands and did laundry. Now I have a mountain of ironing to work through. I've been putting it off for too long. I have nothing left to wear!

I wish we had a place to tan here - that sounds soooo lovely right now - not to get tan, cuz then I would really stand out round here, but just to get alllllll nice and toasty LOL
for me today = making angry bird cake pops for Grayson's birthday party tomorrow. I hope it doesn't take all day long, but my "practice run" at it last week almost did, and I only got a dozen done then - I have to hope that Micah will let me put him down for a good chunk of time... so we'll see how that goes....

I have to pick up Zach & Noah on my lunch break to take them to church. They leave this afternoon to go to Indy for a 3 day church/youth event. They are super excited.
Tonight Donald & my dad are doing their annual winter camping trip. They do this survior man style, lol. No tents. The sleep in hamocks hanging in the trees. It should be interesting since we are getting about 4 inches of snow today!
Tonight it will be just Isaac & me so I bet we will get a pizza and watch tv. And stay warm by the fire!

Two-hour delay here due to ice, so I have and unexpected day off. I'm really thinking of crawling back in bed for a lazy day.

Friday and Saturday are my deep cleaning days. Whatever I don't get finished today I'll finish up tomorrow so I have Sunday and Monday free.
Sometime this weekend I need to help Abby go through and organize her room. Bascially purging, her room is clean.
The girls mentioned going through their game closet too. It's a mess right now.

At some point today I need to venture out and get test strips and a meter (my spindown card came today, it helps pay for meds up to $300). We need bread, water, silk milk, eggs (thank God hubby has some money on the credit card). Just waiting on the roads to clear a bit. Slick and icy out there.

I had my end of 2012 review at work today - that didn't go too well.
Apart from that not a lot here. I received a beautiful card from Rosey in the post and I ate a delicious dinner. Think I'm now going to make some brownies!

LOL Sarah - isn't that sometimes the way? I made a batch of cake to which I added twice the recommended amount of liquid by mistake, and they were even better than usual.
I'm glad it arrived OK G. I wasn't sure whether the snow might have mucked up the post. Sorry about the review. I'm not sure what else they can expect when they lay you off and then move you into a crappy job though. It's not exactly ideal working conditions.

I'm in the office, and it's now started to snow - usually I can see the Washington Monument very clearly (we're not that far away), but with the snow starting I can't see it at all out the window. Which normally would mean a terrible drive home. . . at least 3 hrs or more, but hubby suggested we just stay in DC tonight. So instead I'm going out to dinner and spending the night at a Marriott just down the street. . .

I cleaned our bathroom and bedroom, the kitchen, organized the top shelf of the pantry, and the girls organized the game closet. Now I just need to go through the bags of stuff they decided not to keep. Tomorrow I'll clean the other two bathrooms, and sweep/swiffer the floors.
