This is a great idea! I sometimes sneak in extra journaling on the backs of my layouts. This might sound silly, but my thought is that rarely does anyone take a layout out of its protector to look at it, so I occasionally put special journaling on the backs in hopes that future generations might discover these "secret" messages from me. But I am definitely going to start listing the products I used on each layout for my own info, especially the adhesives!
