Why thank you Rosey! I did that calendar at the last minute and the random acts are tough because they had to be things she could easily do. My random acts of kindness were age appropriate and very simple. Here are some of the things I have included:
1. Say hi to someone that is in your class but you don't know very well.
2. Say thank you to every teacher as you leave the classroom
3. Smile at everyone you meet today. You never know who might need that smile!!
4. Compliment someone at school.
5. Give someone a helping hand
6. Write a note to send to someone you don't see every day
7. Give someone (meaning your mother) a hug today
8. Smuggle a note into your father's lunch telling him you love him
9. Hold the door open for someone at school today
and then some specific to her that were more random acts of kindness FOR ME
10. Practice your instrument for 15 minutes without your parents having to nag you to do it
11. Empty the garbages throughout the house without anyone asking you to do it
12. Fold whatever laundry is in the dryer
13. Make a card for someone and send it
14. Bake something and give some to Mrs. H next door
15. Call your grandmother today and tell her you love her
I then repeated some. I know they might sound corny but it is kind of funny how excited she gets over them.
