Thought you all might need a funny.

All of these are/were real laws in Saskatchewan!

In Jasmine it was illegal for a cow to moo within 300 metres of a private home.

In Bladworth it was illegal to frown at cows.

And it's still illegal to put graffiti on someone else's cow. (although it's legal to decorate your own)

In a spectacularly racist and sexist move in 1912, the Saskatchewan legislature made it illegal for European-Canadian women to work for businesses owned by Chinese men. (Not sure what the point of this one even was! lol)

It is forbidden for children to appear outside in their winter boots if the laces are untied.

In Fort Qu'Appelle it is illegal for a teenager to walk down main street with their shoes untied.

(We really feel strongly about tying our shoes, apparantly)

Also a Fort Qu'Appelle law: It was illegal to leave your horse in front of the Country Squire (local hotel) without hitching it securely to the hitching post

It is illegal to drink alcohol in Saskatchewan while watching exotic dancers (therefore, no strip joints in my hometown - not that I am complaining! lol)

That's all I can think of right now! Hope you enjoyed! lol
